For Celeste Marron, the path to higher education seemed impossible with three young children at home. But when she discovered that HCC Southeast College offers drop-in child care services for student parents through a partnership with the YMCA, everything changed.

Houston City College (HCC) Southeast has joined forces with AVANCE-Houston to launch the inaugural AVANCE to College, an education and career development program that helps parents of young children pursue higher education while strengthening their parenting and leadership skills.
