    HCC Northwest won in four of the statewide award categories and in two of the three regional award categories, setting a new record for the college.     Today, Connect Community, a local non-profit organization, launched the Sewn Goods Collaborative to protect our public workers, local businesses, and residents during the COVID-19 crisis. This collaborative was launched in tandem with Houston Community College, Houston Furniture Bank, and several small-batch manufacturers, non-profits and local sewists to create a partnership to better serve the Greater Houston community.

    The HCC Foundation (HCCF) is raising funds to provide emergency relief to Houston Community College (HCC) students who are struggling with unexpected expenses as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Support ranges from helping students meet urgent basic needs (such as food, housing, and utilities) to covering the cost of internet access and/or devices so students can continue their studies via remote learning.
