I am excited to announce a new initiative that will bring all of the College together to address declining enrollment and support our recruitment efforts.
Houston Community College’s Center for Entrepreneurship is now the Glenda & David Regenbaum Center for Entrepreneurship at Northwest College. This past April Glenda and David Regenbaum generously donated $100,000 to the Center to support entrepreneurial initiatives to help educate and nurture the growth of small businesses. The center is located at HCC Northwest Alief Hayes campus in West Houston.
Houston Community College’s Academy for Vocational Advancement and Skill Training (VAST) has been transforming the lives of students by giving them a chance to receive affordable college career-readiness training leading to meaningful credentials, employment, and independence, since 1990.
Harris County Promise launches in Aldine, Alief, and Pasadena ISDs, guarantees college tuition to Promise scholars
More than 4,000 high school seniors will have the opportunity to earn a tuition-free, postsecondary education through Harris County Promise, a new program that provides students with last-dollar scholarships to cover the cost of tuition and fees at participating community colleges.
