Newsletter from Trustee Eva L. Loredo, District VIII

Nov 5, 2020

Dear Neighbors,

Houston Community College is open and safe with flexible ways for you to begin or resume your learning experiences. We want to keep the lines of communication open during this unprecedented pandemic.

HCC is offering four attendance options to help you achieve your educational goals:

There are new in-person protocols for students, faculty and staff. Everyone must pass a pre-screening each day before coming to campus. We have temperature checks

at entrances, more surface cleaning and additional sanitizer stations. We also have added extra classes and rearranged classrooms to ensure social distancing. When on campus, do your part by wearing a mask, staying six feet apart and washing your hands regularly. If you are sick, please stay at home.

Get started today at hccs.edu/now for Spring 2021 enrollment and financial aid information.

Need a computer and a connection? Visit hccs.edu/techhelp for information about free and reduced-cost technology. Go to hccs.edu/careerhub to find a job or check out our Office of Entrepreneurial Initiatives for help growing your business.

Visit hccs.edu/childcare for more information about child care resources. In-person support for enrollment, advising and financial aid is also available by appointment.

Welcome back to HCC, where you can improve your life because we are #HCCStrong!

In service,
