HCC West Loop Campus hosts ESOL/English Interdisciplinary Symposium

Houston Community College recently hosted an ESOL/English Interdisciplinary Symposium entitled “Transitions: Going from Zero to Sky’s the Limit" at the West Loop Campus. The purpose of the event was to discuss the literacy needs of multilingual students and ways to improve their English-learning experience. Dr. Maggie Sokolik, the Director of College Writing Programs at the University of California Berkeley, served as the keynote speaker.
