HCC and the Texans go pink to raise awareness

Oct 15, 2015

Houston Community College and the Texans teamed up to raise awareness for breast cancer.  HCC handed out 1,000 pink logoed bandanas to fans as they entered NRG Stadium for a Thursday night contest against the Indianapolis Colts.  Fans of all ages sported the bandanas as visual acknowledgement to honor those who have battled or are battling breast cancer.

Fans found unique ways to show support, including: tying the bandanas around their heads, necks and upper arms or hanging them out of their pockets. The sought-after handouts were gone in less than three hours, leaving fans asking for more.
