Digital Storytelling is expanding at HCC

May 18, 2015

Digital Storytelling inspires creativity, intuitiveness and supports faculty in their effort to “flip the classroom.”

As more faculty have trained with the Center for Digital Storytelling, HCC has added 11 new digital stories to the series on EduTube demonstrating this principle.

The topics are as wide-ranging and varied as our faculty. There are stories of a Katrina survivor, a canoe and a drought, a Venezuelan bread shop, childhood cemetery memories and tributes to loved ones confirming that everyone has a story to tell.

Succinct storytelling (3-5 minutes) encourages a fresh approach to classroom challenges.

“To work in a collaborative group environment using 21st century teaching techniques and learning new technology provides the opportunity to think outside the box for instructional projects,” said Charlotte Hamilton, Director CETS Central College.

Please investigate this growing library of HCC Digital Storytellers at EduTube Creative Showcase and consider signing up for seminar.
