District IV Highlights: Coleman PR Department wins 2013 Paragon Award

Feb 5, 2014

For the third year in a row, the Public Relations Department of HCC Coleman College for Health Sciences has been awarded Paragon Awards, the highest national honor in marketing and communications for two-year colleges. In fact, HCC Coleman has won two 2013 awards, which are handed out by the American Association of Community Colleges National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NMCPR).

One Paragon Award was for the college's health sciences application portal, colemanconnection.org, a website designed to help prospective students learn more about the college's programs and engage in an in-person information session. The second Paragon was awarded in the category of college signage or displays for the new Wayfinding Monument at the entrance of the college.

The only national marketing and communications awards earned by any HCC college, Coleman’s awards will be presented at the 2014 NCMPR national conference in March in New Orleans.
