Federal Financial Aid

HCC Foundation Scholarships: Explore scholarship opportunities through the HCC Foundation. This is an annual general application that matches students with potential scholarships.

 

Payment Plans

HCC Payment Plans: HCC offers payment plans that allow tuition to be divided into smaller, manageable payments over the term.

State Programs

Texas Workforce Commission (TWC): Explore funding assistance for training programs related to in-demand jobs through the TWC. Visit the TWC website for more information. 

Workforce Solutions: Support training for some of the region's high-skill, high-growth occupations

 

Employer Sponsorship

Some schools or districts may offer tuition reimbursement or sponsorship for individuals completing teacher certification, especially in high-need areas like STEM or special education. 

 

Texas Public Education Grant (TPEG) for Continuing Education Students

Texas Public Education Grant (TPEG) is a grant designed to help Texas resident students cover his/her tuition and fees, when these expenses exceed the Student Aid Index (SAI). TPEG is awarded to eligible applicants on a first-come, first-served basis while funds are available and does not cover the cost of books, material, tools or any other supplies.
