Jan 30, 2020

Student and staff volunteers provided food for more than 200 people at the Eagle Strong Community Food Fair, Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Alief Hayes campus. HCC partnered with the Houston Food Bank and West Houston Assistance Ministries (WHAM) to provide food for HCC students, faculty, and staff, as well as the community.

Northwest College Lead Counselor Kevin Fuller said the event was a huge success thanks to the hard work of the entire team.

“All of our team members and volunteers were happy to have the opportunity to share with our students and the entire community,” he said. “We look forward to continuing this valued partnership with WHAM and the Houston Food Bank to work together and continue to address the needs within our community.”
