Jun 6, 2018

Houston Community College District V Trustee Robert Glaser was elected to the Community College Association of Texas Board of Trustees at the organization's June 2 meeting in Ft. Worth. Glaser will serve in an at-large position.

"I am honored to be chosen by my fellow trustees, statewide, to represent them in this organization," said Glaser. "I will continue to advocate for HCC while also promoting the advancement of community college education statewide, increasing recognition of the value and positive impact of our institutions to the economic development and growth in our state.

In addition, I will work to make sure my fellow trustees in the 50 community college districts across Texas know about the resources, education and professional development CCATT offers. I look forward to working with both the fellow board members of CCATT, as well as with trustees from around the state, to further align the needs of all our districts, so we can speak with one voice when advocating for our institutions and our students."

CCATT was formed in 2007 as a membership association for Texas’ community college trustees. Its mission is to provide resources, education and professional development to elected trustees of the 50 Texas Community College Districts. The association and its members advocate for the advancement of community college education while increasing recognition of the value and positive impact of community colleges to economic development and growth of the state of Texas.
