Hurricane Harvey Donations

In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, Houston Community College (HCC) faculty and staff stepped up to the plate to help Southwest College students impacted by the storm. Many supplies have since been collected.

The donations are ready to be distributed at the front desk of both the HCC West Loop and Stafford campuses. Stop by the front desk from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to receive items if valid student I.D. is presented.

“HCC Southwest College Student Services set up the donation collection to assist all students affected by Hurricane Harvey,” said Afrah Hassan, HCC associate dean of Student Engagement and Success. “Our hearts go out to all who suffered losses from this devastating storm and this collection is a small gesture of our concern and care for our students. We have many items available on a first-come, first-serve basis.”
