HCC participates in Fort Hood College Fair

Houston Community College (HCC) continued its campaign to reach out to veterans by participating at the recent Fort Hood Education Services College Fair.

James Corona, coordinator for Career and Transfer Services and Frank De La Portilla, part-time Enrollment Services assistant, promoted the Centers of Excellence, academic programs and distance education to over 500 active duty military, family members, retirees, and Fort Hood civilians.

The HCC presence at the fair enabled the Fort Hood community to view HCC as a veteran-friendly institution and a viable option for relocating to Houston to pursue job opportunities.
