Feb 27, 2015

The Hung Vong Vietnamese Cultural School made a $2,000 donation to the San Jacinto Memorial Green project through the HCC Foundation. The school, which has been holding Sunday classes at Central's Midtown location for at least the past five years, teaches Vietnamese cultural enrichment classes to hundreds of students in Houston. The donation will be used to plant a new tree in honor of the school in front of the historic, 100-year-old San Jacinto Memorial Building at HCC Central. The school is one of the first donors to the Memorial Green project.
