HCC's Michael Mitchell to serve as a featured speaker at Houston History Conference

The Houston History Alliance’s fifth annual Houston History Conference—“On the Cusp of War: Houston in the 1860's”—will feature 25-plus speakers exploring all time periods in our city’s rich history, including Houston Community College's Michael Mitchell, History Instructor.

The conference will take place on Saturday, Sept. 12 at the M.D. Anderson Library at the University of Houston, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Student registration is only $20.
