HCC's James Thomas serves as featured presenter at National Black Theatre Festival

James Thomas, technical director at the Heinen Theatre, recently returned from the National Black Theatre Festival in Winston-Salem at which he was a featured presenter.

James is a nationally-recognized prop master who presents regularly on special topics in prop design and construction.

He is resident set designer at Houston’s Ensemble Theatre and Pittsburgh’s New Horizon Theater.

James and his design work was recently showcased by United States Institute of Theatre Technicians in their Designers of Color exhibit.
