If you’re interested in astronomy, then you should head to Houston Community College for an out of this world experience.

Houston Community College Star Parties are underway. Students, faculty, staff and the community are invited to view the cosmos through the lenses of high-powered telescopes. On a typical night one can see the moon’s craters, stars and planets.

These Star Parties last two to three hours, starting at dusk. They are free and open to the public.  To discover more about Star Parties or how to become a member of the S.T.A.R. Squad (astronomy club), visit the S.T.A.R. Squad website or Facebook page.
