This past October the health insurance market place opened to offer new health plans for individuals without insurance coverage. The plans cover items such as doctor visits, hospital stays, preventative care and more. As a student, you may benefit from the new no cost and low cost health insurance options.
Houston Community College will host a series of Enroll America health insurance workshops March 17, 18 and 19. Trained representatives will be on hand to help guide HCC students, eligible family members and community at large members in providing essential information on the application and enrollment process. This effort is focused on connecting our students, their families and the community with the right resources and information to allow for the selection of the optimal health insurance plan.
The workshops are free and open to the public. Below are dates, locations and times for each event.
