About the Program

The Endoscopy Technician program is designed for individuals interested in caring for the endoscopy patient.  Upon completion of the program, graduates may gain employment as an Endoscopy Technician who handles the scopes, supplies and equipment during all types of endoscopy procedures.  The Endoscopy Technician may gain employment in hospitals, surgery centers, and free standing endoscopy suites.

Program Information

A Career in Endoscopy

An Endoscopy Technician, a member of the endoscopic team in an endoscopy suite, assists in delivering patient care before, during and following endoscopy procedures. Endoscopy Technician prepares and understands the specific uses of technical equipment, supplies and the numerous techniques required for all types of endoscopic procedures.

The Endoscopy Technician Program is for the person who seeks a challenging, diverse and fast-paced health career that offers a vast range of employment opportunities.

Online Program Restrictions

Language Option Restrictions

Some online programs require students to participate in foreign language courses as part of the program’s required curriculum. If you would like to take courses in a language that is not offered online, you would have to do so on campus.
